We went mainly for the entertainment, and it was disappointing. It was advertised like there would be a lot going on, but once we got there the schedule was confusing, hardly anything seemed to be happening, and everything felt really unorganized. It gave off a bit of a bait and switch feeling, like the event sounded way better than what it actually was. We ended up leaving early. Maybe the skiing itself is fine, but I wouldn’t go back for the events.

Paying that much for just one day felt like a total rip-off. Whoever came up with these ticket prices must be some kind of wallet-draining genius.

Stayed at Bolton Valley for a quick ski trip, and overall the cabin was okay. Check-in was easy, the beds were comfortable enough, and it worked fine for what we needed after being out on the mountain all day.
The only thing that stood out was the cleanliness. The bathroom looked like it had been wiped down, but not really deep cleaned, and there was dust in the corners and under a few things. It kind of felt like housekeeping did the obvious spots and skipped the rest. Not terrible or anything, but for the price, I expected a little more attention to detail.

I booked after checking Bolton Valley and thought the snowmaking coverage would be better. Once I got there, it felt way more limited than expected, with a bunch of thin spots and scraped-off areas that made the day way more stressful than fun.

I know they can’t control the weather, but if man-made snow is supposed to be the backup, I expected it to cover the main trails better. Some runs felt like they were technically open, but just barely, and I spent too much time worrying about what I was skiing over instead of enjoying myself.
For what I paid, it really didn’t feel worth it. I ended up leaving early because the whole thing was more of a hassle than a relaxing ski day, and I’m not exactly eager to go back anytime soon.

Bolton Valley was decent for advanced terrain, but I wouldn’t call it some hardcore dream spot or anything. A few of the steeper runs were actually damn fun when the snow was good, and the trees can be nice too, but if conditions are crap they’re kind of a pain in the ass. After a few laps it started feeling limited, like I’d already seen most of the good stuff. The lifts were also slow as hell, which didn’t help. Overall, not a bad mountain at all, just kinda underwhelming if you’re mainly there to chase harder terrain...

Wasn’t the smoothest experience with the lifts. Stopped a few times while I was there, which got a bit annoying after a while.

I drove up to Bolton Valley hoping for a decent day on the mountain, but the snow ended up being disappointing. Right away, I noticed a lot of icy patches, and some areas had really thin cover.

A few trails felt scraped off way earlier than I expected, and after a couple runs, it just wasn’t that fun to ride. I know weather is unpredictable and resorts can only do so much, but paying full price for those conditions stung a bit.

I wish I had looked into the conditions more before making the trip. The mountain still had good vibes, so I wouldn’t call it a total one-star experience, but the snow itself was a big letdown

I showed up excited to spend the day getting some good runs in, but pretty much as soon as I arrived, I could tell it was going to be a battle. The place was absolutely packed. Lines were long, the slopes felt crowded, and every time I thought I’d found a little space, more people would come flying through. I spent more time waiting and weaving around people than actually enjoying the runs. By the end, I felt like I barely got any decent time out there, which was disappointing.

The terrain park is decent, but it kind of works when it wants to. There are a few fun rails and boxes, and I had some good laps in there, but the takeoffs were uneven in spots and the bigger features weren’t always open. It’s not a bad park, just a bit hit or miss, especially on busy days when it feels like it could use more upkeep...

Had such a good day at Bolton Valley. Backcountry access was easy to figure out and felt legit, which was nice. Wasn’t too crowded either, so got in some fun laps without feeling rushed. Trails were a blast and the whole vibe was super chill. Would definitely go back

I went night skiing and left disappointed. A bunch of the runs felt icy and way too dark, so it wasn’t exactly relaxing or fun. The lines moved slowly, the staff seemed like they weren’t really sure what was going on, and I felt like I had to keep figuring things out myself, which was just extra work I didn’t want to deal with. For what the tickets cost, I expected a much better experience

I stayed at Bolton Valley for weekend and overall it was comfortable. The bed was good, the room stayed warm, and being so close to everything made things really easy. It’s not a super fancy place, but it was clean and simple to settle into.

I’d probably give it 4 stars because the room did feel little dated, and the walls were kind of thin at night. That said, I still slept fine and had a good stay, so I’d definitely come back again...

The shuttle situation was probably the roughest part of the trip. We were just trying to get up to the mountain without any stress, but the access was awful and made the whole start of the day feel frustrating. Once we got past that, things were better, but the shuttle experience definitely needs some work.

i really liked the terrain here. there were some easier spots to cruise through, but also a few steeper runs that kept things interesting. It made the day feel fun without ever getting too intense or crazy...

I had a decent time overall, and the staff I talked to were really friendly, so I don’t want to make it sound like the whole day was terrible. But the runs were icy and there weren’t many warning signs, which felt weird. Someone went down near us and ski patrol seemed to take forever to show up. Maybe it was just a busy day, and I’d probably still go back, but safety definitely felt a little too relaxed that day.

I wanted to like the trails more than I did, but they started feeling samey after a while. There just wasn’t much variety for different skill levels or even just different moods, so after a couple hours I was kind of ready to be done. It wasn’t terrible, and I can see how some people might enjoy it for a quick ride, but for the price I was hoping for more options. I’d go back if friends really wanted to, but I wouldn’t be in a hurry

It does have some helpful beginner info, and I can see it working for people who are just getting started. That said, I still got a little confused in a few spots, so I’d imagine other customers who are totally new might feel the same way. It’s okay overall, just not as easy to follow as I hoped

I was just trying to find some basic info, but the website made it way harder than it needed to be. After clicking around for a while, I started to feel kind of trapped, like there was no simple way to get where I needed to go without getting annoyed.

I grabbed a few basic snacks and drinks the total caught me off guard. My instinct told me it was going to be pricey, and I should’ve trusted it. Nothing felt special enough to justify what I paid.

I emailed a couple of times and even called once, but I still haven’t gotten any real response. It’s frustrating having to just sit around and be patient when all I need is a simple answer before my trip.
